Mary Glen
Mary was trained by Dr Anna Kay in Sheffield. She did advanced training in genital piercings, but also loves doing fancy and complex ear projects.
She originally opened Piercing Thoughts within a tattoo studio in 1998. She worked there for 5 years, and was (and still is!) the only trained professional body piercer in Falkirk. She was an active member of the APP and the TPI, and was one of the many who pushed for licensing in the tattooing and piercing industry.
She moved to the current studio location in 2003, naming the clothing shop ‘Heaven ‘n’ Hell’, but keeping Piercings Thoughts within. She also took on an apprentice. However, after about a year, the shop changed into a tattoo and piercing studio and was renamed Heaven ‘n’ Hell Tattoos & Piercings. Mary then took on another apprentice, Zara.
Since opening, Mary has done literally thousands of piercings, and now offers microdermals, which she and Zara done training for in June 2009.
