We also now have Halloween Contact Lenses in stock! We have various different styles (photos available on Bebo and Facebook). They’re only £20 per pair, or £30 for two pairs! They come with FREE eye solution and carry cases!! They also last for 90 days after opening! Considering that some companies charge £15 for ONE lens, we’re glad that we’re able to sell them to you for a much better price However, they’re proving very popular, and we’ve already sold out THREE different styles and we’ve not even had them for a full week yet! So to guarantee you get a pair for Halloween, act fast!

It’s also come to our attention that some studios charge customers extra if the artist has to draw up designs for tattoos, on top of the price of the actual tattoo! How cheeky! Just to make it clear, we at Heaven ‘n’ Hell offer a FREE design service, and always have! We don’t send designs out of the studio however, you have to come in to see them. But we’re more than happy to spend time with you, helping you to get the perfect design to suit you. We also keep custom designs just that – CUSTOM. If we draw a custom design for you, we will never give it to anyone else! Anyone who asks for your tattoo will have to get a different variation as we have drawn that as CUSTOM for YOU.

Well, Halloween is nearly here, and that can only mean one thing – the Heaven ‘n’ Hell Halloween Specials! Every year, we do special deals at Halloween, such a jewellery offers and discounts on piercings. We have something VERY special this year – keep your eyes and ears peeled for more info soon!

We recently got more jewellery in that you all have been requesting! We now stock tapers in 1.6mm, 2mm and 3.2mm! We have a variety of colours now in. We also have FAKE tapers, for those who want the look without the big hole in your ear! We have fake tapers that look various different size, and also different colours!

Also, I noticed another ‘celebrity’ piercing the other night – any X factor fans? Who noticed Marlon McKenzie’s shiny new microdermal? He didn’t have it at his original audition, but at Judge’s houses he was sporting this. Good to see microdermals are becoming more popular!

A Little More About Our Artists…. Part 2

Time to learn a bit about another one of our artists! Our ‘senior’ artist, Kev, has been with us since November 2007. He started off only working Sundays and Mondays, but went full time in Spring 2008. He now works Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. He also does late nights on a Thursday night, as well as mentoring me (Zara) on Tuesday nights!

Kev can turn his hand to all types of tattoos, but there is no doubt that he absolutely loves Japanese tattoos and Old School/Traditional, as well as floral designs. His tattoos are bold and bright, with lots of colour.

Kev is also a great artist for first timers, as he is extremely chatty (as his customers will know!) and is an expert at taking the customer’s mind off the tattoo and any pain they may experience. He is also a bit of a prankster, and him and Baz have been nicknamed Mayhem and Chaos, as that’s usually what goes on when they’re together!

A Little More About Our Artists….. Part 1

It’s become apparent in the last while that with so many artists on board, some people don’t know our names! So I’ve decided to tell you all a little more about our artists, how to spot them, and what kind of work they love doing the most.

We’re starting with John. John has been tattooing at Heaven ‘n’ Hell for over two years now. He is a traditional hand artist, but tattoos with machines mostly. John’s style is very recognisable, and he has a way of adding a soft touch to his tattoos, making him ideal for feminine tattoos and tattoos that follow the flow of the body. He has a bit of a reputation for his bow tattoos as well.

However, John can turn his hand to most tattoos, such a tribal and old school as seen in the photos on this entry.  He can be recognised by the three dots tattooed on his nose, and his love for cardigans

He works in the studio on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. So pop in and get some work from John!

The Calm After The Storm…. Supposedly!

Well, Friday 13th is well and truly behind us now and we’re all back to normal after the madness of that day! The final total raised for Strathcarron was £3247, so a huge thank you to everyone! We still have a few t-shirts and badges left, and that money will go back into the charity box so pop in if you don’t have one already!

Our artists have been doing a wee swap around, so some of them have changed their days. We are still open 7 days, and now have TWO artists working every second Sunday. So those who need weekend appointments can still get in no problem!

Our newest artists are also gaining quite a following like Kev and John! Romford is getting a reputation for realism, and as a result more people are getting portraits and realistic animal designs, like the butterfly above. Baz has been found out for his love of graffiti, and this shows in designs like the one below. Pop in to chat to the artists about getting any of this work carried out!

Keep in mind we are still doing tattoo apprentice days! Every Tuesday night you can get a small tattoo for £20 instead of the usual £30-£40. Some of you may have been tattooed by me on Friday 13th, and if not then you can come and have a look at the work I did to make sure you are happy with my work. Kev will be on hand as well should we have any technical difficulties. We will also be looking for volunteers for piercings soon as Nikki will be starting training later this year.

We also have lots of new designs in the studio! From feminine designs to grim reapers and old school and everything in between. So pop in and have a look!

Five tattooists.

And £3176.70 raised so far…

That’s just some of the numbers involved in our absolutely amazing yet rather insane Friday 13th Charity Event!

Anyone who popped in will tell you the day was a success.  We saw so many generous people who got tattooed, bought t-shirts and badges, and made donations to add to our total. We still have a few t-shirts to sell, so the total is ongoing, but so far we have made an incredible £3176.70. We hoped to surpass our total last year of £800, and ended up almost quadrupling it!

So this is a huge THANK YOU to everyone who got involved. We couldn’t have done it without you all!

Friday 13th Is Almost Here!

Well, it’s nearly here! A week tomorrow, our Friday 13th Charity Event will take place and we couldn’t be more excited! We have FOUR artists working all day FOR FREE (along with our other staff working for free too) with ALL proceeds going to Strathcarron Hospice.  We have a selection of tattoos available for £20, instead of the usual £30-£40, and you can get as many as you like! One customer is currently booked in for four!

Most of our staff with be dressing up for the ocassion, so expect a few surprises! I will also be padding around with my camera taking photos of the fun. If all goes to plan, there will also be t-shirts for sale! Again with the t-shirts, all the profit will be going towards Strathcarron.

So make sure you pop along, it’s going to be a great day! And getting tattoos for charity? It doesn’t get much better than that!

A General Update

Not long not until Friday 13th! Our Charity Event is a fortnight on Friday, and we no have an incredible FIVE TATTOOISTS working! We’ve raised over £1000 so far, and hope that figure will rise on the day! Appointments are being taken, but you can also walk in on the day – we will do our best not to turn anyone away!

We have 3 full time tattooists and one guest artist working at Heaven ‘n’ Hell, and we’re open 7 days. We’re glad that we can now offer walk ins, although we’re still booking out a week ahead even with so many artists!

We also have Apprentice Nights every Tuesday, meaning you can get a small tattoo for £20 instead of the usual £30-£40! We will also be doing apprentice piercings soon, watch this space!

We also have lots of new piercing jewellery available! We now offer piercing with black jewellery AND gold jewellery, as well as offering jewelled balls on various piercings!

The Heaven ‘n’ Hell Army Grows Again!

Some of you who have been in the past few days may have noticed a few things. For one, we’ve actually had space for walk-ins! This isn’t due to us being any less busy, however….

Some of you may also have noticed a new face on the tattooing floor.  This is because we have a new artist joining us for a while! Some of you may already know Romford as he’s been working elsewhere in Falkirk since September last year. However, he has decided to have a change of scenery and come to work at Heaven ‘n’ Hell for a while!

This means that we should have two artists working every day, meaning we can fit people in for walk-ins more often!

We have uploaded some of his work on Bebo and we also have his portfolio in the studio so pop in to check out his work!
